I just forgot how solid the project was. I mean with Hov you expect greatness as soon as the album is announced but this may be the greatest hip hop double cd EVER. Hov touched every spectrum on this cut. He performed lyrical feats of genius on cuts like A Dream and Hovi Baby, which maybe be the most impressive 3 verses with a hook in hip hop history. You may srgue that throughout the double cd there are moments you could have done without but I could probably state a case for even those moments. Point blank, this was the last great album of an era. Music hasn't been the same since quality wise or sales wise.

The Rick Ross saga is out of control... smokinggun posted a 20 plus page employee file of Ross (Real name William Leonard Roberts) including his application to the Florida Department of Corrections, previous employers, college records and finger prints. Its not a good look for the boss. I mean I know dudes who had good jobs who did dirt later or who did dirt sooner and didnt get caught. We got to hang out a bit in Philly and I holler at him now and then and he shows love.. this occurrence put me in my youtube bag (philly shit) so I watched Chief Rocka.. but I distinctly remember at the age of 13 that my favorite cut from the album was Here Come the Lords.. it was rowdy, hype, witty and lyrical plus the beat was crazy.
