Shoutouts to the kid B.O.B. for bringing some laughter to this autotune situation. This song is a parody and the funny thing is if they released the song officially to dj pools it would be a hit. I bet some retarded DJ will put it on his mixtape lol. Is he dissing Wayne and T-Pain? I wouldn't call it a diss but he is definitely making fun of Wayne in the rap part. Its all in fun. Either way its the truth. Check B.O.B.'s single "I'll Be in the Sky" and his feature on T.I.'s Paper Trail album with Ludacris ,"On Top of the World".

So I hooked up with a really talented producer based out of Atlanta, Georgia. She goes by the name of Killa Kels. Yes I said she. She is a beast. This track is a problem. I am a problem. haha. I rarely toot my own horn but its my blog bitches! Shoutouts to Drawzilla on the mix.

Im Not the One - 2ew Gunn Ciz

It's Finally Here!!!

I really don't know where to begin with this project. Let me begin with the reintroduction of Derrick "Drawzilla" Carter aka Mr. MTV, producer extraordinaire. If you are not familiar with the name then you are most definitely familiar with his work. From composing soundtracks to shows such as Run's House, Sweet 16 and countless other MTV network shows, Drawzilla recently produced 3 tracks on the new D.I.T.C. album. He's been working out of the world famous D&D studios taking it to the next level with his melodic sounds and anthems. He's also vicious on the mic device.

He also recently received the Underground Music Award for Emerging Producer. His resume reads like a who's who of hip-hop including Mariah Carey, LL Cool J, Nature, CL SMooth, Littles, Sadat X, Chrisette Michele, Big Lou, Remy Ma, Capone, Showbiz & AG, Sha Stimuli, Party Arty, D Flow, Reed Dollaz, E. Ness, Grafh and more.

Drawzilla is also Co-owner, Vice President and Director of Music Production of Inasirkl Music Group with his partner Jason "J. Hatch" Hadshian. They manage DJ Bedtyme 357, Remy Ma's Official DJ and Jager Music's only hip-hop DJ. They also manage Sico Syrus who is featured on the cd and has dropped 2 critically acclaimed mixtapes and was inducted into the Allhiphop Breeding Ground as well as being named Hiphopdx Next and receiving 2 nominations at the UMA's.

The tracklisting speaks for itself. If you missed volume 1 then go back in time in the Delorean and cop it. In the meantime download this and be blessed by Drawzilla's sick production and amazing cast of co-stars!

What's good folks? Every once and a while I post some home grown heat and today is no different. We have my Yadibox fam, Triple Nickels. Now some people post music because it is theirs but I post what's good. Honestly I don't like everything I've ever done even though some of my supporters and friends may argue that I haven't dropped a lame verse yet. With that being said I really love this track.

Triple Nickels (formerly the Rowdee Black Giants) have a dope cd coming out entitled "Homemade Grenades" and I was asked to be apart of it. Zilla Rocca carves a soulful path with this track as we discuss finding a way through this crazy world. If you like music with substance this is for you. Download it and bump this shit!

Triple Nickels - Find A Way (Produced by Zilla Rocca) f/ 2ew Gunn Ciz and Toke Jones

I found this footage of Barack Obama playing high school basketball. Apparently he was pretty good. On this historic day where I believe Senator Obama becomes President-Elect Obama, I figured tons of others will be blogging and video blogging and writing about why you should vote and blah blah blah. My vote is locked in. Im sure most people know who they will be voting for. I'd rather show you a funny ass clip of Obama in tight ass shorts grabbing boards and taking it to the rack for a breakaway layup. GoBama. I love that Obama called fora playoff system in college football and McLame talked about steroid usage. It goes to show who cares about what the average person and the average sports fan cares about and who is the same old politician tight ass talking about regulation and more blah blah blah. On a side note Sarah Palin won the chip in high school with her Wasilla Warriors. Hopefully after tomorrow she will take her self back to Wasilla and never come back. Okay, so here is the footage. Peace!

Check Obama's crossover on the OBalla Mixtape at 0:41 seconds! lol. This one has recent footage and Obama still has some skills. Imagine McCain in any athletic competition lol.

My bad Zilla. Steve "Zilla Rocca" Zales, 1/2 of Clean Guns, Co-Founder of Beat Garden Entertainment, Blog Rookie of the Year for "Clap Cowards", and not-so ghost producer extraordinaire dropped a gem on me. He remixed Crush Rock, originally produced by Rhythm J. The track received some moderate love over at Hiphopdx.com getting a little under 30,000 plays before the thirst for new music pushed it to the 4th or 5th pages of obscurity. Either way its a crowd fave at all my shows. I was watching football and browsing through my iTunes looking for a Reef the Lost Cauze track and I noticed this remix. I don't know what was going through my mind when Mr. Rocca sent this to me but I obviously overlooked a dope cut. Upon further review (perfect rhetoric for NFL Sunday) the ruling on the field is overturned. Sorry guys. Sometimes I just save as instead of instantly opening in iTunes. I love J's version but the beauty of this version is that besides the dope sample from "Top Yourself" by the Raconteurs, the lyrics can breathe. Reef, Nico, and M.O.G. went in and its obvious. The rock feel never left but those who slept and/or got lost in Rhythm J's heavy rock rendition of The White Stripes "Icky Thumb" can catch up with us as we trade bars and effectively Crush Rock. Enjoy.

Crush Rock f/ Reef the Lost Cauze, Nico the Beast, MOG (Zilla Rocca Remix) - 2ew Gunn Ciz

The beauty of a blog is that once it is created, it never goes away (unless it is deleted), so if nobody knows I have one and only 3 people read it everyday or people do the usual and read something without leaving a trace of them having been their only later to tell you word for word the content of your blog or a lyric from your song. Argh! Now that's frustrating. I wish I could hand everyone in the world a copy of Tailgating but I can't. Some folks will catch on later. Shit, it will probably be a cult classic in 2049. With all that being said let me allow myself and Zilla Rocca to reintroduce himself and his CD, "Bring me the Head of Zilla Rocca". It's definitely worth the listen. guarantee there are songs on there everyone will enjoy regardless of hip-hop genre preference. (i.e. crack or back pack or mandex, etc.) He put together a dope little video with a backdrop that resembles a late night television show hosted by Conan O'Brien or some guy. Shouts to Jimmy Giambrone the young Nigel Barker slash James Cameron of Dangerous in Public.

I ran into the IIourshow Nigahrazzi and we had a nice little chat about music, performance, Obama and more. Check it out.

Also peep the video Thor TV put together for "North Philly" feat. DJ Bedtyme 357 off "Tailgaing: The 3 Second Rule"

Shout outs to Jason and Ian for the video footage. Check out Sico Syrus of Inasirkl Music Group killing it at the Beats on the Beach conference in Miami, Florida brought to you by iStandard, Inc. and DBHH Management. I fell back and let my fellow Philly representative do his thing and he murdered it. Check for Siconomics 2.5 coming real soon with the Spit it for Philly Remix featuring 2ew Gunn Ciz, Reed Dollaz and E Ness. Free the Queen. You see the shirt suckas!

I have not been this excited about a movie since... since... um, like Menace to Society! The movie stars Jamal Woolard aka Gravy, (yes the dude who got shot in the ass) Angela Bassett and Derek Luke. The trailer looks sick. I think I will really be able to get into the whole Gravy as Big thing once I sink into my seat at the theatre. I might even get dressed up and take a date to this one. Let me know what you guys think of the trailer.

After the Daily Conversation promo spot with the Time Life infomercial feel and P giving the "so so" I noticed that Torae had a knack for creating creative visuals... now being as though I count the young vet as an ally since our days on the showcase scene, I had to post this and give it a nomination for creative vid of the year. The UMA's and that dude who runs it better make a category just for this... and he better win for free. Fuck it. Givew my man a check and nominate this shit for a VMA.

Hey guys!

I rap if you didn't notice the extremely long post of performance videos or the latest September video (Yo!Adrienne waddup!) posted below. Before I was an emcee I was a fan though and I continue to be a fan of hip hop as well as other genre's of music excluding most country (sorry Dad).

Nowadays when I express distaste in other music besides my own, people tend to figure me as a hater. Oh no. Not the "H" word. Yes the "H" word. Someone decided that once you record a song you know longer can have an unbiased opinion of others music. Well to quote my own self "before I picked up a pen niggas was wack".

I do however have some of the dopest homies in the industry both signed and unsigned and I do enjoy many other groups and individuals on the scene currently. I guess it is my responsibility as a blogger in the Peter Parker sense (thanks Uncle Ben), to use my powers for the good of music, my chosen love and profession. With that being said, I introduce my crew to you. When I say crew, I mean cats who would let me sleep on their couch or vice versa.

These are people who I've taken 4 am trips from NY back to Camden to catch the train across the bridge home (I see you Big Lou) with after shows. People I've taken weird road trips to Rhode Island with. People I've had lunch with in San Diego while annoying chicks wouldn't shut the hell up! (Distant i wanted to kill that jawn!) We've almost been mangled by pit bulls with retarded owners at Venice Beach. I would fu*k you up for these people.

Don't get it twisted.

Also please let the spiders of google lock this into the annals of internet history. The Rap Pack is officially born. With that being said, the rest of you can officially die. In no particular order I give you Distant Starr and Al Mighty of Magr, Zilla Rocca and Nico the Beast of Clean Guns and myself, the man, the myth, the rap Vincent Chase, 2ew Gunn Ciz. *cue the horns, gun shots and belly dancers with grapes* More on that later.

So where do I start?!?!?

Oh, I know where to start. Let's start with a member of the Rap Pack. Since he just released a mixtape; a mixtape you say? Yes a mighty mighty mixtape entitled "Bring Me the Head of Zilla Rocca", my Beat Garden bredren, Clean Guns cousin and fellow Philly Gun Club member, Zilla Rocca, producer extraordinaire, rookie of the year blogger and seriously underrated emcee has been making more noise on the blog circuit than Peter trapped in the body of Jesse, the new aged Banshee.

Not only is Mr. Rocca a sharp dresser, but he also put together one of my favorite joints of the year so far. I say that not because of our homie status, but because its true. He's like a brother and we would all tell our brother if he sucked now wouldn't we? Yep so check his blog out. Check his myspace and try to find him on facebook (you stalkers!) and download his damn tape. Its hot fiyah.

the blog
the myspace

ENJOY!!!!

Download "Bring Me the Head of Zilla Rocca"

I had to throw up some shameless self promotion. It makes it even better being hot. I mean I could suck and really try to push my music in your faces lol. Check out some new performance footage. Big shouts to the kids over at Yo!Adrienne Productions for the footage. Click the link and check their Youtube page.

Mr. West is at it again. I just had to post this for anyone who left the planet for the past week and missed him perform this on the VMA's. I also posted the video of him singing it live. He sang it live without the vocoder effect.

Love Lockdown - Kanye West

John McCain vs John McCain...watch as he contradicts himself on the vital issues.

A fellow Naval Academy classmate and POW of McCain discusses the "Hero" and Why he wont vote for John McCain

Sarah Palin attempted to force her ex brother in law to be fired. Then she lied, got caught and attempted to clean it up.

Do we want these people to clean up the mess their friend Georgie B. made? Say no to McSame and the Milf.

We sit down with an old friend.. one of the hottest females you never heard of, West End Richmond, Va's own Gi Gi Broadway.

"fuck my record label, I appear courtesy of myself"
- Canibus

Bis summed it up beautifully. He always participated in retarded collab sessions. Thank god for the 4 Horseman, (Rass Kass, Canibus, Killa Priest and Rakim) the Fantastic Four pt.1, (Cam in his prime, Nore, Bis and Big Pun) 4-3-2-1, (LL, Meth, DMX, Redman, Master P) Desparados, (w/ the Firm) and Beast from the East among others.(A+, Redman, and the Lost Boyz)

So I get an email from a High Maintenance ATL about a kid named "Ball Greazy" who he proclaims as next to blow (who isn't nowadays?) and that Miami is the new breeding ground for hot artists. I won't really argue for or against either one of those statements but what bothered me was the next part of his sales pitch.

"But his fiery new single featuring Brisco and Ace Hood is a heater. Notice that both of the featured artists on the song are also excellent rappers that are about to explode onto the national horizon themselves in an instant!"

So..the cosign of artists who themselves aren't established is enough of a reason for me to check this dude out? better yet I'm retarded if I'm not feeling him because he did a song with these cats?

Sho you right.

I remember when Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick put out a record called "The Show"

Now here you had two dudes with a mutual respect for each other who got together to make good music. Neither leaned on the other. No A&R's made phone calls to other labels to agree to record it.

I remember Jay-Z and Biggie's Brooklyn's Finest.

Two cats who grew up 5 blocks from each other (Nostrand and Putnam down the block to Marcy on Myrtle) and really honestly fucked with each other. They record this among other collaborations to big up their hood. Instant classic created by two friends who both rapped.

We could go into collabs and guest appearances all day. James Todd Smith kept his career alive well after it should have died (after Momma Said Knock You Out) by smart collaborations that became hits. Who Do You Love f/. Total, The point is that they have evolved and lost their luster. I've watched A&R friends of mine (who's identities I will protect) fly out of town to negotiate collaborations. I've had friends of mine be paid to do songs with wack ass rappers to boost their credibility. I've watched everyone get a T-Pain, Akon, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown etc on their songs to make their songs credible and hopefully jumpstart their careers. Nowadays managers are on a mission to have their artist record with as many notables as possible in an attempt to introduce their artist to the collaborators fan base. Log on to hiphopdx or allhiphop and scroll through the lists of songs. The ones with the more familiar names have the most plays point blank even if the song belongs to MC Cantrap Forshit. We are now left with such notable collaborations as T-Pain and Two Pistols or Bubba Sparxx and Ray-J...

Even worse are the people you never heard of and don't want to who pay for collabs just so they can spam your email box and claim to be hot because of a co-dollar sign.

Thank got for Success... I'd been waiting on that my entire life.

Shoutouts to all the cats out there working together to get to the top.. the Justice Leagues, Skyzoo and Torae, Termanology, Donny Goines Big Lou and Sico Syrus, Esso, Clean Guns, Reef the Lost Cauze and all the other cats who make dope collabs with artists on their level or with their heroes.. either way its genuine and as a fan I appreciate the quality. Let's keep the collabs coming.

Here's a few pics.

shoutouts to live footage 215 for this dope ass video!

Remember educational cartoons? Well i bet you don't remember the Animaniacs as being one of them. The Animaniacs were like Looney Tunes on crack lol. Who can forget Pinky and the Brain? Mindy? Ok I love you, bye bye haha. Can you lol in blogs? Either way, check out these clips and get educated!

When I first met Don DiNapoli (of Prototype Ent and now my partner with Istandard, Inc.) we felt each other out (pause) musically. See Don is an Italian kid from Jersey whose roots are in rock and I'm a black kid from North Philly whose roots are in hip-hop. The funny thing is we both have a love for the others main genre. Our biggest similarity is that in 93 we both fell in love with that other genre for good. His album of choice was Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" and mine was Stone Temple Pilot's "Core". Now I had listened to rock here and there and I had songs I liked from groups such as Guns N Roses, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam but never had I enjoyed an entire album on some serious shit. Along comes Weiland and Co. with their hard drums, sick riffs and melodic songs giving me one of my favorite albums of all time. I rocked out to all three albums before the breakup in 03. Scott went off too Velvet Revolver with everyone from GNR not named Axel Rose and the DeLeo brothers went off to Army of Anyone for a few albums. Thank god they got back together. Thank you is out with the greatest hits and a new album is on the horizon. As long as the STP formula stays the same, this kid will be copping it and hopefully catching a live show. In the meantime I have commissioned Rhythm J Arrucci of Crush Rock (White Stripes "Icky Thumb flip) fame to create a funky mash up jawn from STP. Be on the lookout. In the meantime check out my fave of all time.. Plush from STP. This jawn got me thru a few rough patches!

Plush - Stone Temple Pilots

Tailgating Red Carpet Release Party Pre Blog from 2ew Gunn CIz

Bernie Mac passed at the age of 50 years old due to complications from pneumonia. Dude was one of the funniest, animated people ever. Comedy touches people. It can make the worst day feel better. Bernie definitely was at the forefront of those who kept the world laughing. From his stand up routines to his show to his classic movie roles, Bernie will always be with us. I figured I'd toss up a few of my favorite Bernie moment.

While Casey was cleaning up before moms came, she popped in the Blueprint 2 disc, which honestly i had forgotten about. Now fellow Hov fans chill before you stone me. I didn't forget one single song. I just forgot how solid the project was. I mean with Hov you expect greatness as soon as the album is announced but this may be the greatest hip hop double cd EVER. Hov touched every spectrum on this cut. He performed lyrical feats of genius on cuts like A Dream and Hovi Baby, which maybe be the most impressive 3 verses with a hook in hip hop history. Shouts to Zilla over at Clap Cowards.. i love this blogging shit. You disagree? Come and get me!!!!!

Read this shit!

[Jay-Z]
Follow the flow, look
They say a midget standin on the giant's shoulder can see much
further than the giant.. (the giant..)
So I got the WHOLE rap world on my shoulder they tryin to see
further than I am.. (than I am..)
And I have been tryin to be patient with they preoccupation
with David and Goliath.. (Goliath..)
But sooner or later, that patience gonna run it's course
and I'm forced to be a tyrant.. (be a tyrant..)
But bein tyrant, comin through your environment
Iron mask, nigga iron gas, nigga I am back
With "The Team," no I in that
R.O.C., y'all not eyein that
Y'all don't see, clearly cause the reign ain't gone
"The Dynasty," no not Ming but Shawn's
Dame, Kareems, nigga it's the gangsta team
Stop your run, one of the reasons that they call us gangrene
The other reason, we got a gang of green
If there's better at gettin cheddar that remains to be seen, nigga

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Jeah, jeah

[Chorus]
Can't touch the untouchable, break the unbreakable
Shake the unshakeable (it's Hovi baby)
Can't see the unseeable, reach the unreachable
Do the impossible (it's Hovi baby)

Can't move the unmoveable, stop the unstoppable..

[Jay-Z]
Jeah, look
I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life
Look behind you, I'm bout to pass you twice
Back to the future and gotta slow up for the present
I'm fast, niggaz can't get past my past
How they propose to deal with my perfect present?
When I unwrap "The Gift & the Curse" in one session
Ain't no livin person can test him
Only two restin in heaven can be mentioned in the same breath as him
Seven straight summers, critics might not admit it
But nobody in rap did it, quite like I did it
If you did it I done it before, you get I had it
Got mad at it and don't want it no more
And that goes for everything from flippin that raw
Flippin whores, flippin vocal chords, don't get it twisted
Get it right, did different, did it better, did it nice
Did the impossible then did it twice (get it right)

[Chorus]

[Jay-Z]
Yup! Hovi's home, the global phone
The world is back in order the number one rap recorder is back
You cats overfelt yourself
You couldn't help yourself, now witness the reel for reel
In my absence cats get, absent-minded
Now it's time to rewind and remind 'em
why I'm in the position that I am
changin the game, my game could nail Madonna
Well after I'm gone, they'll honor
history in the makin, Pistol Pete
leave competition shakin without missin the beat
Chasin the hi-hat all over the track
The snare is scared of the air in here, BOOM!
And plus I get paper dog, don't let me forget
The watch face so blue like it's holdin it's breath
Can't see me skill for skill or check for check
It's the bow tie flow dog, I bring it to your neck
Live and correct I will bring it to your set
I got now, I don't care who got next
Rapper slash exec, Kordell Stewart
Your flow all y'all usin is mine, you're all useless
You ain't a factor, who are you foolin?
You all are faggots, you takin it backwards (takin it backwards)
I'm tryin to progress with this rap shit
Nigga, nigga your whole career is a accident
Who was gassin 'em? (Fuck outta here!)

when a verse starts off they say a midget standin on a giants shoulder can see much further than a giant/ so i got the whole rap world on my shoulder, they tryna see further than i am and the second verse with Im so far ahead of my time, Im bout to start another life, look behind you im bout to pass you twice you shake your head and buckle your seat belts, then the swag hits the moon without losing a bit of lyricism in the third as he reminds us and Nas that Hovi's home the global phone, the world is back in order the number 1 rap reporter is back!

You may srgue that throughout the double cd there are moments you could have done without but I could probably state a case for even those moments. Point blank, this was the last great album of an era. Music hasn't been the same since quality wise or sales wise.

My favorite cut : Blueprint 2 (Nas won the battle, but Hov won the war)
Sleeper cut: All Around the World (No ID laced this jawn. Please give him his. This song is the blueprint for my career and Visa persona {see www.myspace.com/2ewgunnciz})

Hovi Baby -

The Rick Ross saga is out of control... smokinggun posted a 20 plus page employee file of Ross (Real name William Leonard Roberts) including his application to the Florida Department of Corrections, previous employers, college records and finger prints. Its not a good look for the boss. I mean I know dudes who had good jobs who did dirt later or who did dirt sooner and didnt get caught. I'm one of them, but Ross lied after this was first exposed and thats where the fraud comes in. Fraud is a pattern usually versus a one time thing. So anyways check out the files..

The Rick Ross Files

Since i blog about randomness, I went on to my Facebook page to send an update from my fan page (add the kid and join that page) and i noticed that my dude Doitall joined the club. I thought that was a good look. We got to hang out a bit in Philly and I holler at him now and then and he shows love.. this occurrence put me in my youtube bag (philly shit) so I watched Chief Rocka.. but I distinctly remember at the age of 13 that my favorite cut from the album was Here Come the Lords.. it was rowdy, hype, witty and lyrical plus the beat was crazy. So for all my younger homies who might not know who Doitall and Mr. Funke are but know Chief Rocka, I present to you Here Come the Lords..

For my next trick I will attempt to post every piece of footage circulating of me performing on the entire world wide web.. i wont do it all at once but gradually but here goes with one of my first NYC perfomances a few years ago.

In part 2 the DJ gives us a track he selects and we have to spit a 16 to it.. i got one of the wackest beats ever but i went in.. no excuses.

On that typical Philly shit (yea I do that too)

Part 2 of that typical Philly shit. This is why yall love us. Shouts to H.I.M. of D2R and SFive of Boogie Down Productions

Live from Fluid - Philly

A Collage Yo!Adrienne Productions cooked up from my Where Im From freestyle

This is some funny shit from a you tube sketch comedian. I guess its a parody of misogynistic hip hop.. whatever it is, its funny as hell.

I told myself I wasnt going to post music to promote muhfuggas that are rich but Swizzy made a dope track i could enjoy.. I can always count on him for that.

Swizz Beats - That Oprah (Video)

No we don't sell crack or pimp hos... seems like your favorite rappers arent really doing those things either (damn Plies and Rick Ross!)... check the video out. its funny as shit. haha.
